Jennifer Poulos, Psy.D, is a pediatric psychologist who specializes in 3 types of comprehensive psychological evaluations:
- (1) Initial Psychological Evaluation for children who are seeking a diagnosis (children 0-5 years of age)
- (2) Katie Beckett Deeming Waiver and NOW/Comp Waiver Evaluations (for patients 0-20 years of age)
- (3) Updated autism evaluations (for children of all ages).
With a family-centered approach, she helps children and families cope and thrive in the face of developmental, cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and chronic medical conditions. Dr. Poulos creates comprehensive psychological evaluations for each of her patients that take into account all aspects of a child’s wellbeing, ranging from sensory processing to emotional health — and beyond.
Dr. Poulos and her skilled team provide a broad spectrum of care, including comprehensive consultations, psychological assessments, and treatment planning. As a pediatric psychologist, she takes a particular interest in addressing developmental delays, speech/language challenges, autism, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), sensory processing differences, and medical/genetic/chromosomal diagnoses that impact development. She works closely with other professionals to provide continuity of care to her patients and their families. Dr. Poulos also offers strategies for effective parenting, family involvement, and fostering supportive home and school environments.
